What is an IEP?

To achieve an appropriate program for your child the following may be needed:

  • School based evaluations

  • Subject based evaluations

  • IEE

  • Creating an IEP or IFSP, 504

  • Co-taught classes/Resource Room

  • Specific Goals that require direct instruction

  • Modified assignments & testing accommodations

  • Specialized Reading Instruction or Math Instruction

  • Modified school day/school year

  • Related services: OT, PT, Speech, ABA Therapy, Counseling

What is the IEP Process?

Educational testing is used to determine if a child has learning disabilities or educational needs, as related to academic, cognitive and functional levels of performance, in the areas of academics, transition, vocational, community and independent living, leisure and recreational skills.
